Summary
     Adam is a twelve-year-old boy, like many others.  His best friend and constant companion is Brandy, a golden retriever.  Together, they like to explore and look for adventure; sometimes actual, but most often a creation of Adam’s active imagination.  
     Adam’s greatest desires are to please his mother and father; grow up to be an airplane pilot like his dad; and, find new things that no one has ever found before.
     If Adam is different from many other youngsters in today’s world, you would probably say he has lived a sheltered life, in a home with two loving, God fearing parents: a home life that most Christians would call perfect.  He lives in a world filled with love and compassion; teaching and learning; and trust and faith.
     But, when Adam finds out he also lives in the real world, and the real world is not always perfect.  The question is, “Will his twelve years of love and compassion; teaching and learning; trust and faith, prove to be enough when the outside world comes crashing in on his?”
